MykePrints workshop with FDM 3D printers
About MykePrints

Precision printing, every layer.

MykePrints is a Canadian 3D printing service built around quality materials, dialled-in machines, and fast turnaround.

How it started

MykePrints started as a passion project — a single printer, a workbench, and a drive to make high-quality 3D printing accessible without the industrial price tag.

What began as printing parts for friends and local makers has grown into a reliable service trusted for prototypes, functional components, and custom one-offs. Every order is handled personally, with the same attention to detail as the very first print.

Hardware

Equipment

Every print runs on well-maintained FDM hardware tuned for dimensional accuracy and consistent layer adhesion.

FDM Printers

Calibrated for 0.1 mm layer resolution and tight dimensional tolerances.

Enclosures

Temperature-controlled enclosures for warp-free ABS and engineering-grade filaments.

Dual-zone bed levelling

Automatic mesh levelling on every print for first-layer consistency across the full build plate.

Post-processing tools

Sanding, priming, and support-removal tools for clean, ready-to-use parts.

Filaments

Materials

A focused selection of proven filaments — no filler options, just materials that perform.

PLA

PLA

The everyday workhorse. Great surface finish, easy to post-process, ideal for display models and low-stress parts.

PLA PRO

PLA PRO

Enhanced impact resistance and reduced brittleness over standard PLA. A step up for functional parts.

HT-PLA PRO

HT-PLA PRO

Heat-treated for higher temperature resistance. Suitable for under-hood, kitchen, or outdoor applications.

Standards

Quality standards

Pre-print checks

Every STL is reviewed for manifold errors, wall thickness, and printability before slicing.

Mid-print monitoring

Prints are monitored for layer shifts, stringing, and adhesion failures throughout the run.

Post-print inspection

Finished parts are measured and visually inspected before packaging.

Reprint guarantee

If a part doesn't meet spec, it gets reprinted — no questions asked.
